A pre-requisite for all yogis!  Come learn (or revisit) the fundamentals of Yoga.  


This course is a complete introduction to Yoga. It will provide you with the tools you need to get started and progress into regular classes safely and with confidence.


Focus will be on the learning the basics of a Hatha and Vinyasa Flow style practice, including the key actions and principles of alignment of the core postures , proper breathing techniques, basic philosophy, sanskrit terminology and the art of relaxation.


These information rich sessions, will build on your knowledge and experience week by week.  The small class size will allow time for questions and personal guidance, including modfications of postures to suit your needs.


Whether you are an absolute beginner, need a refresher or have always wanted to know “am I doing this right” this course is essential.



About the Teacher - Krista Janke


On a journey of self-discovery, Krista took the plunge into her first 200-hour teacher training in the spring of 2016. Through her personal movement and mindfulness rituals, she is committed to exploring the nitty-gritties of Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative styles while deepening the practice that makes up her “yoga”.


Along with the physical benefits, Krista is passionate about sharing the importance of connecting energetic movement with mindful breathing in a playful, creative and practical way that will offset the day-to-day hustle and bustle that is life.
